A captivating adaptation of Jean Giono's environmental cult classic. A French shepherd sets out with his dog to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland. Hear the wind, feel the rain, smell the lavender in this multi-sensory theatrical delight.

A unique blend of comedy, puppetry and inspiring storytelling. An unforgettable story that shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world.

"IT IS VERY, very rare to find something that appeals as effortlessly to children and adults as this magical show ..."

From The Week, May 2008
Conservantionists have revived a lost paradise in a Borneo rainforest. A decade ago, the territory around Samboja was a like a moonscape, its trees cut for timber and the land burnt. So Dr Willie Smits, a forestry expert, bought a 5,000 acre site and set about replanting it, using seeds from 1,300 species of tree, and a special micro-biological fertiliser. Today, he says, the forest is mature, with trees up to 35m high, more rainfall and lower temperatures. It's an "ecological miracle", he told the Observer, "a fairy tale come true."
