Excellent, family entertainment - 3 generations all captivated. A week of full on holidays later and we are all (including the 4 yr old) still quoting and laughing and talking about the show. Wonderful. Do not miss it.

Uncontrollable guffaws and gentle pathos... surely the stuff of life. The set is elegant and delightful. The story is enchanting and timeless and the DAWG...THE DAWG IS SOMEONE I WANT TO GET HAMMERED WITH.Rick Conte and Richard Medrington perform with understated skill and charm of the first order.Just tell all your friends and their non-toddler kids to go.

What fun! We attended this show a few days ago with our three kids, and all of us loved it! This is a highly accessible story told with humor and warmth. Our three children 7, 10 and 13 all enjoyed it, although for different reasons. It helps that the puppet dog in reminded us of our own pet. The acting chemistry between both humans and puppets is a big part of the attraction. If you are impregnably cynical or have children that are, this may not be for you, but most families with kids and lighthearted adults will enjoy it very much. We would strongly recommend this wonderful show.

This is possibly the best show I have seen for a long long time. It was wonderfully set and the puppets and props were used imaginatively throughout. We`were a group of adults and found it vastly entertaining and delightful and very funny also. This is one Fringe show not to be missed!

An excellent show 16 Aug 2006

This is such a enjoyable show and a must for those who seek a 'good feel factor'. The story is a very touching and heart-warming affair where you warm very quickly to the excellent story tellers......and dog! This combined with lovely music, wafting lavender smells and an excellent venue is sorely tempting myself and my family (2 children 9 & 13 and wife 40+)to see this show again. In short, both my kids said it was one of the best show they have ever seen. Magical!
