The Man Who Planted Trees

Puppet State Theatre Company

Don’t be fooled - this show is not just for kids. Two actors/puppeteers, accompanied by puppets, tell their audience a wonderfully innocent tale of a man who lived his life to do the right thing. Their heart-warming story – a belief in the goodness of humanity – is carefully saved from becoming too absorbed in its own profundity by the amusing puppet dog whose tail is constantly wagging. Not only is it a charming and uplifting little piece of theatre, but even smells are used to enhance the audience’s experience. This performance undoubtedly scores top marks for its ability to be a completely original, slick, professional, humbly delivered, multi-sensory, and above all, magical experience that will make the hairs on anyone’s neck stand up.
